2008 Olympic Games

 The 2008 Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, were held in Beijing, China. It was a major international multi-sport event that took place from August 8 to August 24, 2008. The games were a significant moment for China, as it was the first time the country had hosted the Olympics.
